Welcome to your private lavender escape on 75 wooded acres with sweeping views of the Catskill Mountains. Tucked behind the main house, a stunning 1-acre lavender field sits in a sun-drenched clearing, surrounded by trees. In bloom from mid-June to mid-July, this peaceful spot reaches peak beauty around mid-July. Beside the field, a charming rustic pavilion with seating for up to 30 guests offers the perfect setting for intimate weddings, family reunions, or special celebrations. If you're planning an event, please contact us before booking—an additional fee may apply. Inside the spacious home, you’ll find room for everyone. The main floor features an open kitchen, dining, and living area, a laundry room, a master suite with a king bed and en suite bath, a queen bedroom, and a second full bathroom. Upstairs, the main wing includes a full bedroom with a private bath, two queen bedrooms, and a shared bathroom with a tub. (Please note: the 2 queen rooms are connected with a barn-style door, so noise will travel between the rooms.) The second upstairs area is a large multi-use space with two queen sofa beds—perfect for movie nights or remote work. Above the attached garage, a private studio apartment offers two queen beds, a full bathroom, and a small kitchen. Please note: access to the studio is through the garage only. Step outside to meet our resident goats, Mantis and Pepper Potts (a.k.a. Manny and Peppy), who love to entertain from their nearby enclosure. With room to roam, views to remember, and plenty of charm, this is the ultimate countryside retreat.
Other Details to Note
-The lavender is only in bloom from mid-June to mid-July. While guests can access the lavender field year-round, it is at its most stunning during this period. -If you would like to host an event in the house, or by the lavender field (or both!), please reach out to us prior to reserving so we can discuss our specific limitations. We would like to ensure that your event is feasible before you make your reservation. You will also need to reserve your specific time in the lavender field so we don't schedule anything else during that time (like farm work, photoshoots, or private u-pick sessions.) An extra fee might apply if you're planning to host an event, since we will need to setup the tables, chairs, etc. - We can sleep up to 19 guests in the house. If you have more than 19 guests, please reach out prior to booking so we can confirm that the house will be suitable. - This is an active farm, so you may see farm workers on-site throughout your stay. (No one will enter the house without discussing it with you in advance.) - We have 2 feisty goats on the property close to the house. Please do not enter their enclosure or let them out. Please do not feed the animals without permission. - Early check-in and late checkout can only be granted if we don't have another guest checking in/out the same day. We can confirm the availability of early check-in and/or late checkout one day in advance. We charge a fee of $25 for this service, since we will need to coordinate with our on-site manager, and sometimes we will need to pay a cleaning rescheduling fee. - If you absolutely need early check-in or late checkout, please book an extra day to account for that.
